Our Healthy Clubs organised a heart screening day for players 18 and under in conjunction with the Dillon Quirke Foundation for Monday 8th of July.
The day ran from 9am - 5pm with a total of 44 boys and girls screened.
Huge thank you Advanced Medical Screening and the team of Philip, Michelle, Jess & Dr. Maura for providing the service, Cathy from the Dillon Quirke Foundation for liaising and organising the day with the club and to Níamh O’Sullivan who supervised the day from Na Piarsaigh.
This service is hugely beneficial and is brilliant incentive and we thank the Dillon Quirke Foundation for offering this service. We encourage other clubs to contact them and to avail of this service. We had a brilliant experience and thank them for the work they do!
